Mission Contractors Ltd. was established in August 1988 by Norm and Gabrielle Berard, who are still managing directors. Based in Mission, BC, the company began with one office and a field staff of three. The company still maintains one office, but has grown to include three additional shareholders along with the original two. Today the company is 25 strong. For the past 20 years, the annual revenues have been steadily on the rise.

The company’s philosophy has always been to promote and encourage long term careers. It has grown by promoting the best, dedicated deserving individuals who demonstrate the management and professional skills that will contribute to the company’s continued success – making it an employee owned company. Through dedication, teamwork and strong company values, Mission Contractors Ltd. will continue to grow in size amidst an increasingly competitive industry. We now have seasoned staff of operation managers, project managers, estimators, foreman, as well as highly experienced, motivated, skillful operators, pipe layers, grade-men and laborers.

Our years of experience have proven us to be great team players and problem solvers. We work together to achieve our essential goal of successfully completing a project – on time and on budget. Mission Contractors Ltd. has always worked cooperatively with our project partners; the owners, engineers, consultants and the public. Mission Contractors Ltd. has never had a project end with any claim or litigation. As evidence of our above noted philosophy and professional conduct some of our clients include: BC Hydro, Genstar Development Company, City of Burnaby, City of Surrey, City of Langley, District of Mission, DFO and we are short listed on nearly all of the Lower Mainland’s environmentally or public sensitive projects.
